Environment · Operations · Strategy
As operations and project professional, I work at the intersection of people, operations, and sustainability where most companies have problems they don't yet know how to name. I help them name them. Then fix them together.
"E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle"
Dante Alighieri, Inferno XXXIV, 139
What I believe
The future belongs to those who believe in potential, in people who have not yet been given the right conditions, and in resources we have not yet respected enough to use well. I believe in unlocking what is already there. And I believe that a good adventure is the mix of discovery and accepting discomfort.
The three things I bring
These are not values written on a wall. They are my filter for running every project, every team, every decision through. When all three are present, organisations move. When one is missing, I ask why before I do anything else.
People are almost always more capable than the system around them allows. Resources are almost always more valuable than the way they are being used. My job is to close that gap — in operations, in teams, in organisations going through change.
Respect for the person on the floor and the one in the boardroom. Respect for the environment as a stakeholder, not a constraint. Respect for complexity, not pretending things are simpler than they are to make yourself look decisive.
Work that does not have some element of genuine engagement is work that will not be done well. I have climbed mountains, managed a surf camp, and rowed to two world championship medals. I bring that same energy to organisations that are willing to earn it.
Three blunt promises
I jump into the unknown with the heart of an explorer
Your project is stuck. It is half-managed, the schedule is tight , and you need a person. I take it over and make it functional for long-term growth. Not perfect, but ready to succeed and leap forward. 15 years of complex situations. I move things forward, not just write reports.
You have an idea and need a trusted partner. I bring hard skills, curiosity, and commitment, helping move ideas forward with confidence.
You have great people and a good structure, but you need a someone who likes to explore new ideas, new connections, new locations. I travel globally to connect and think outside the box
